Registered Behavior Technicians

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Rio’s Place, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges achieve their full potential. Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), you will provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients, implement behavior intervention plans, and collect data to track progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Direct ABA Therapy:

                                                    Complement individualized ABA programs designed by the BCBA/BCaBA to target specific behavior goals and skill development.

                               Accurately collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions.

Data Collection:

I                                         Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA/BCaBA.

Behavior intervention:

                            Collaborate with the BCBA/BCaBA, parents, and other team members to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Collaboration:

                               Maintain thorough and organized records of client sessions and progress reports.

Documentation:

                                                    Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in ABA through ongoing training and education.

Professional Development:

                                                     Complement individualized ABA programs designed by the BCBA/BCaBA to target specific behavior goals and skill development.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Rios’s Place, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and providing guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members. Your expertise in ABA will be essential in helping individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment:

                         Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and assessments of skills to develop individualized treatment plans.

                                        Develop and oversee the implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that target specific behavior goals and skill development.

Treatment Planning:

                        Provide supervision and ongoing support to RBTs and other team members to ensure the effective delivery of ABA services.

Supervision:

                            Analyze data collected during therapy sessions to track progress and make data-driven decisions.

Data Analysis:

                                        Collaborate with clients and their families to set treatment goals, discuss progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Client Collaboration:

                                                    Stay current with the latest research and best practices in ABA through ongoing training and education.

Professional Development:

                                Maintain thorough and organized records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Documentation:

                                   Adhere to the ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and promote ethical practices within the organization.

Ethical Standards: 

                               Assist in training and coaching parents and caregivers in implementing ABA techniques and strategies.
